Hivehammer 600 - Warhammer 40,000

Prepare your forces for this month's Hivehammer 600!

Four 90-Minute Rounds of Warhammer 40,000 at 600pts with our bespoke rules and scenarios. Prizes for overall winner as well as "Most Sporting" and "Best Painted" alongside the much-loved "Wooden Spoon"!

LIST BUILDING RESTRICTIONS

• Must include a model with the LEADER keyword
• Build your list with 2DP as you would in a 1,000pt game
• You will secretly choose your force disposition before each game based on those made available by your detachment choices
• No Enhancements or Upgrades can be taken
  • You will have a choice of bespoke enhancements at the start of each round
    
• Models with any kind of Invulnerable save can not have a toughness value higher than 8
• Models without an invulnerable save can not have a toughness value higher than 9
• No allies may be used - All forces drawn from one Codex/Index
• No models with the EPIC HERO keyword
• No models with the CRUCIBLE keyword
• Units must always be built at their minimum size
  • e.g. A unit option of 5-10 models must be fielded at a size of 5

Armies are not required to be painted and victory points will not be awarded for painted forces.

We recommend taking a few minutes to look through your opponent's lists before each game and each player must have their list available to their opponent at all times.

FAQ

What models can I use?

As long as your models are the correct scale, consistent and representative of the unit they are being played as, we do not mind third-party, kitbashed and/or 3D printed models.

Where do I send my lists?

When you buy your event ticket, enter your email address and we will email you a link for the Best Coast Pairings platform. You will need to submit your army list there at least 48 hours before the event to be entered properly.

How do enhancements/upgrades work?

Do not pay any points for Enhancements or Upgrades for your units. You will receive a scorecard on the day of the event that will highlight four "Hivehammer" enhancements. These can each be used once per event.

Is there an age requirement?

While the gaming system has no age restrictions we recommend this event for 13+ (Under 16s will need to be accompanied by an adult)

Do I need dice/tape measure?

Yes! Please bring your own tape measure, dice, tokens etc

Do I need objectives/mission cards?

No. These will be set up and provided by Hobby Hive on our popular gaming tables
