COMMUNITY EVENTS

Hobby Hive is built on community. Without the vibrant and varied regulars, players and hobbyists that make up our gaming crowd, we wouldn't be able to do what we do.

With that in mind, we have some events that are solely focussed on providing something for the community.

With plans to invite specific interest groups into the space and expand these events even further, we are always open to suggestions and special-interest groups who are looking for a home.

Kids Club

With a lot of parents returning to the hobby, it's unsurprising to find a lot of our community wanting to include their children in the hobby. Our Sunday kids club includes card gaming, boardgames and tabletop as well as painting, model building and simpler colouring pages. Children can attend for £3 each with under 4s getting in FREE. We also include fruit in the entry price to encourage those good snacking habits!

Weekly Wellbeing

In today's world it can be all too easy to forget to look after yourself. Whether you're into tabletop gaming or not our Weekly Wellbeing meetups are completely FREE for anyone who needs a break or a place to touch base with other humans. Includes a free tea, coffee or bottled water.

Rainbow Rollers

The hobby space is as far-reaching and diverse as it's community and we want to make sure everyone has a space at the table. Rainbow Rollers aims to provide an exclusive event for members of the LGBTQ+ community that want to enjoy their hobby in a safe environment with other likeminded folks.

Models for Heroes

Join Stef every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month for some modelmaking and camraderie with community members from similar backgrounds. Formed to cater to serving and ex-military and uniformed services, why not drop in!
