By Car.

St Mary's Street is easy to reach from the town centre, and there are several convenient car parks nearby:

St Mary's Gardens is your closest option - it's just a short walk from the shop. Other Council-run car parks within easy reach include River Street, Lurke Street, and Allhallows multi-storey.

Parking is free for up to two hours every Saturday in all Council town centre car parks, and free all day on Sundays.

Blue Badge holders park free in all Bedford Borough Council car parks - just make sure your badge is displayed.

All Council car parks carry the Park Mark safety accreditation, so you can park with confidence.

By Train.

Bedford station is situated to the west of the town centre, less than 10 minutes' walk from the main shopping area. From there, it's a pleasant stroll down to St Mary's Street.

The station is served by Thameslink and East Midlands Railway, with services running to London Blackfriars, St Pancras International, Brighton, Gatwick Airport, and Luton Airport Parkway.

Direct trains to London St Pancras run every 15 minutes, with the journey taking around 42 minutes - making us very accessible for visitors coming in from the capital.

By Bus.

Bedford's bus station is also within easy walking distance of the shop. Bus services in Bedford are run by a number of operators including Stagecoach East and Grant Palmer, covering routes across the town and surrounding villages.

On Foot or by Bike.

If you're already in the town centre, we're just a few minutes' walk from the High Street and St Paul's Square. Bedford is a compact and walkable town - perfect for combining a trip to Hobby Hive with a wander along the Embankment or a coffee in one of the many independent cafés nearby.
