Gaming Table Booking - Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to all gaming table bookings made at Hobby Hive.
By placing a booking, the lead booker agrees to these terms on behalf of all their attendees.

1. Bookings & Table Setup

  • Table bookings are charged on a per-hour basis.
  • A booking covers the use of up to two connected tables, each measuring 125cm×75cm.
  • Each booking accommodates up to 6 people at the table at any one time.
  • Groups exceeding 6 people will require a second booking. Where needed, tables from two bookings may be moved together to accommodate larger groups. Please speak to a member of staff to arrange this.

2. Provided Equipment

The following items are included as part of every booking at no extra charge:

  • Gaming mats and terrain
  • Board games and rulebooks

Note: Equipment is provided subject to availability. Items must be treated with care and returned in the condition they were provided.

3. Arrival & Use of the Space

  • Lead bookers and their group are asked to arrive no more than 15 minutes before their booking start time.
  • Due to space constraints and the possibility of prior bookings still being in progress, groups arriving earlier than 15 minutes before their slot will be asked to leave and return at the appropriate time.
  • Users must not block walkways or occupy fire escape routes at any time. This includes the entrance ramp and the area near the rear door leading to the toilets and fire exit.

4. Belongings & Storage

  • All personal belongings should be kept tidy and stored under the table or on the under-table shelving provided.
  • Larger items that cannot be stored under the table may be left in the rear area of the shop, but only with prior permission from a member of staff.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations and rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of the booking start time cannot be accommodated. As premium reserved spaces, each booking prevents another customer from using that slot.
  • Staff reserve the right to reschedule any booking under mitigating or exceptional circumstances, at their sole discretion.

6. Responsibility & Conduct

  • The person who placed the booking is responsible for the conduct and wellbeing of all members of their group during the booking period.
  • All users at a booking must adhere to the shop's Code of Conduct at all times.
  • All users are afforded the same protections under these terms. If any issues arise from other users or customers, please notify a member of staff immediately.

7. Misuse & Enforcement

  • Misuse of the booking space or any activity that contravenes these terms may result in the immediate cancellation of the booking without refund.
  • Repeated or serious breaches may result in a ban from future bookings.
  • Staff decisions regarding enforcement of these terms are final.

These terms are subject to change. The version displayed on our premises and booking platform represents the current terms in effect.
